Collaboration has never been more effective with StormCenter’s newest product: The Envirocast® Vision™ TouchTable (EVTT). The EVTT is a result of years of development in the military and intelligence sector and is an advanced visualization and collaboration tool designed to link key decision makers in times of developing hazards or when coordination is needed. The EVTT is also a spectacular media briefing tool that can interface directly with broadcast television stations and cable outlets. The bottom line is that you can communicate much more effectively whether it is in-person, LIVE on a Video Teleconference (VTC) or LIVE on national news!Dave Jones, founder, president and CEO says, “The EVTT is a real advancement that is proven in the military and intelligence world by Northrop Grumman Corporation. We are applying that same level of success to the civil sector by integrating weather, climate and hazard information along with key GIS data to form a complete decision support system. You can even send the information you generate on the EVTT to hand held devices such as an iPhone to someone in the field within seconds to respond to a rapidly developing event.”The EVTT is currently serving the needs of NOAA’s Central Pacific Hurricane Center (CPHC), NOAA’s National Climatic Data Center (NCDC), NWS Southern Region HQ, NOAA’s Hurricane Research Division (HRD) and FEMA Region VI HQ.Additional TouchTables can be networked to allow synchronized remote collaboration. This means that different groups can connect to the network and share data over long distances. Each device on the network displays the same information and is updated concurrently. Control of the displayed information can be handed off as needed and shared among groups as the discussion warrants. This shared virtual space allows all groups of users to contribute, regardless of their physical location.Contact us now to find out how the EVTT can turn your briefings into engaging interactive shared group experience that enables faster more informed decision making and media briefings.
