Envirocast Headline – Arizona Fire
Thank you for giving us your feedback at the 31st AMS Broadcast Meteorology conference in Williamsburg, VA last week. We are now following up on the interest you showed in receiving access to distinguishing satellite images. You asked all of us (Ed Gross, Mike Mogil and Dave Jones) personally how you could get access to the imagery that we showed during the conference. I am happy to announce that we are ready to give you access to those and many more images by making you a beta tester of our Interactive Environment TM software and image database. Please send me an e-mail if you would like to beta test Interactive Environment (dave@stormcenter.com).
Envirocast TM Headline – Arizona Fire
One of the top environmental / weather topics in the news right now is the fire that continues to burn in Arizona. We are also dealing with the terrible drought that plagues many parts of the country while on the other end of the spectrum is the flooding occurring in central Texas. Please see to the right two satellite images you can use on-air today in your show, compliments of StormCenter Communications, Inc.
This type of satellite imagery will not only impress your viewers but begin to establish YOU as the environmental scientist for your market. IT is critical to begin using this type of satellite imagery to distinguish yourselves from your competition. As Gov. Whitman said in her talk during the Watershed Workshop,
“We know that the Americans trust you as a source of credible information. We also know you have the experience and the tools to make science real and accessible to people in just a minute or two, day in and day out.” Gov. Christe Todd Whitman, EPA Administrator
Please take the time to let me know if you are interested in Beta Testing our ieTV product that will deliver to you the latest satellite imagery of environmental hazards including drought, floods, forest fires and much more. Together we will position you and your station to be the leaders not only in weather but in providing critical environmental information to your viewers. StormCenter also has companion services for your web site and can perform top quality television production services as well. We are looking forward to working with you and changing the face of TV weather. With your help, we can make the television weathercast become YOUR Envirocast TM.
Thanks so much for your support in Williamsburg.
